All the Furniture a Bookworm Needs

Flexform 'Oltre Libreria Grande'

The dream that started this blog was about a hotel room that turned out to be a grand library. It had no bed but several couches, which was just fine with me if I was going to have access to so many wonderful books. Now I find that Flexform has taken my dream, turned it inside out, and made it one. Behold the Oltre Libreria Grande. It's a couch, it's a library, and it's a bed! How dreamy!

It doesn't say at the link how much it is. Wow, that sure would look nice parked next to the samovar, wouldn't it? ;)

Oh yes! How could I forget the tea?

That takes reading in bed to a whole new level. I need it in a darker color though so it won't show cat hair or dirty dog prints :)

Good point. We mustn't forget our furry reading companions!

WOW! I love it. I wonder how much it is. I couldn't find that on the site. I think I would like it even more in a darker color. Nice find! See, dreams can come true ;)

It just needs a big table at the right height in front of it to spread reading material on. I have some friends who have a large glass "coffee" table between their couches and it always has lots of books and magazine/journals on it and it's just wonderful.

Absolutely, Cris. Thanks for visiting!

That does sound wonderful, Chuck. Then all that would be missing is a satellite radio playing the all-Mahler channel... ;)

I fear an all-Mahler channel would cause a rise in the suicide rate. I'd love it but it didn't do anything for Rita's friend. ;-)

I forgot what happened to her... Did she meet her Creator Spiritus?

Please, see my blog. I have an interesting site about antique spanish books. http://mislibrosantiguos.blogspot.com
Thank you.

¡Hola Lamberto! You have some amazing books! Thank you for leaving your address here. :)

I have found it highly interesting but challenging going through this invaluable site:Classical Bookworm. I will be grateful if you kindly send me a step by step guide on how I can set up a similar blog site.My own area is applied linguitics/teaching English as a second language.

Thank you, Abimbola. I would suggest going to wordpress.com or blogger.com to find out how to start your own free blog. Good luck!
